David Cole David Cole is a communications and marketing consultant with more than 30 years of experience in publishing, serving a wide range of business and nonprofit clients. Since 1991 he has maintained his own business, Gemini Marketing & Communications, providing writing, editing, publications management and marketing services. David's experience includes stints as a print production manager, editor and publicist. He served as marketing director for Nolo Press for six years and was the Founder and first President of the San Francisco Bay Area Book Festival. He has been a contributing editor and columnist for two publishing trade industry newsletters and is the author of The Complete Guide to Book Marketing. With Mary Lee Trees Cole he co-authored The Lobster Kids' Guide to Exploring San Francisco. |

Mary Lee Trees Cole is the author of Pattern Free Fashions (Chilton), a main selection of the Book-of-the-Month Club Crafter's Choice. She has worked as a writer, editor and book publicist, has taught college, founded an alternative elementary school, developed her own business as a designer of wearable art garments, and developed educational programs for museums and nonprofits. She holds a Ph. D. in Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently she is consulting with schools on the development and administration of volunteer-staffed writing programs. |
